No Dolby Vision
Normally I'd be like, "Who cares? Dolby Vision is just another gimmicky feature." But I did some research.

If you're like me and you buy a new TV every 7-10 years, this is something to consider. I expect that the next TV I buy (sometime this year most likely) will last me until the PlayStation 6 and Xbox One X Series Y Heterozygous Edition arrive, and Dolby Vision will likely matter a lot more.

If you're buying a new TV every 3-6 years, this shouldn't matter to you as much. Dolby Vision is more future-proofing than anything else, as few applications can actually utilize it to it's potential today.

Since I ordered it has dropped from 1839.99 -> 1724.99 ->1649.99.

I got it price adjusted to 1724.99 but took some time. Debating whether to go back in for the second price adjustment. I wonder if they are dropping the price more and more until they clear out the amount of TVs they need to? Crazy cause the TV came out this year.

I really hate that the only way to get a good deal on this TV is with an EPP/EDU account.
You should cancel them on social media for not being inclusive.

Was going to get a 65" Sony A80cj(costco) for $1300, but I think I'm going to go w/this S95B & wait to see how much this drops in price.

So you were able to get a price adjustment. I bought it at the 1725 price and Samsung Customer support would not do a price adjustment, rather they suggested I had to reject the first shipment when it arrives and reorder, which I did.

Such very new model and new tech. Wondering why they are slashing price this low. Any problem with this tv? Anyone knows?
This is a good year for mid to upper end consumer products due to overstock and tightening economic conditions. Everybody has been calling it for a couple months now and I've gotten some great deals on some electronics (TVs, speakers, etc.) in the past month or two. Furniture is another area to keep an eye on this year if you need.

Tried again on the lower price, but shot down again. They are seriously very firm on the 15 days from delivery when it comes to giving you the price difference. Thankfully store credit and cb made this lower for me, but brutal on the return/pm policy. They should be 30 days from delivery day.

On a side note, at least it updated to firmware 1303 so appears plenty bright and perhaps some of the bugs worked out.

I still have the ks8000 also. Still looks great with zero problems. Why would you want to buy another TV if yours is still fine?

I've got the 60" KS8000 and mine has a massive bloom in the lower left of the panel that shows up on any dark scene and in sports. I loved the TV and am sad to see it degrading quickly, but yea... It's time to get replaced. Especially when the TCL series 5 I bought recently has just as good of a picture.
