OP, was the item showing stock for your store in BS? Or even showing 0 stock? I'm showing "No results found in the searched area." And I always just assume it means none in stock near me.

yes it was showing one in stock for me...at the morse road\Easton location which is a 30 minute drive 20 mile drive for me....but I had dropped my sister off at the airport earlier this week and had seen it then.

I got my son a Dell G15 5515 Ryzen only has 8gb memory for $520 open box, would this be that much of a better one at almost twice the price?

Depends on the graphics card. If yours has a 3060 or 3070 your deal is better. At 3050 I would consider it...this one will probably last 2-3 years playing all the new games at high settings...a 3050 will struggle with high settings now but should be able to last around the same. The build quality and screen on this are better but it is almost twice the price...so depends on what your son is using it for...if it's older games or not very graphics intensive its a toss up I would save the money...

It has the 3050 Ti in it. I was planning on getting him an additional 8gb on the Dell at $32, after taxes this Lenovo would be $400 more after considering increased the memory on the Dell. Honesty I dont' know what kind of gaming he will do on it, I'm not a gamer and we do control what games he is allowed to play and how much he plays. However i dont want to hinder him if the difference is big.
