Low brightness is more ideal in the dark, you need higher brightness in brighter areas. Your statement makes no sense.

Huh, you had issues using this monitor in the dark? Even with subpar brightness, you should be fine if using in dark environment unless you have issues with your vision. I mean I have to turn down my LG IPS (non-HDR) monitor to more or less 0 brightness when working in dark environment. I highly highly doubt my monitor's 0 setting is brighter than 100% on this monitor, haha.

But that experience doesn't make sense. Dim monitors are suitable in dark environments unless the monitor is defective or you don't know how to increase the brightness. Maybe your definition of dark is off.

So I bought this monitor And was initially happy with it. The low brightness wasn't a bother. Then it started to bother me whenever I used it in the dark. I ended up returning it. Apps were great, remote was cool, size was perfect but that brightness got to me quick. I ended up purchasing a Samsung A70 (I know big price jump used First responder discount and others at that time) but I realized it's worth it

I got this monitor for a my ps5 racing rig and play gt7, acc, and f1. Good monitor for the size, got it for around the same price from Samsung (after edu discount and PayPal cashback). I play in a fairly lit room so brightness wasn't such an issue. This will hold me off until I build up my rig, but overall happy with it for what it is (4k @ 60hz)

60hz refresh rate, if you are not using it for gaming I'd suppose its okay for office work and watching some videos, it come with integrated speakers
250 Nits for indoor use I'd suppose is okay, people want higher Nits on laptops because often you find yourself outdoors and can't see the screen under bright sunlight, should be fine for desktop monitor

its a 32" 4k monitor with speakers, as long as you don't plan on using it for gaming, it is fine

I purchased it when it was posted last time it was on sale from b&h. Unfortunately the first one shipped had dead pixels and I returned it. The second one arrived last week and was DOA. It is currently with FedEx in the return process. Going to give it one more try before I give up. Probably my continuous bad luck, but...

No DisplayPort input? Yikes. Is this a trend? All my monitors are only a few years old and they all have DP inputs and outputs (all Dells).

Cost savings. At least it has the more important USB-C.

This has to be a fake review. Who notices and complains about brightness levels in the dark...

Besides low brightness there is no support for pip or pbp. For such a large monitor that is a must so you can see 2 sources at the same time
