It is similar to the Soundcore Motion boom except for the slightly smaller battery and addition of lights.

I purchased three of them as gifts for people and got lot's of complements on how good they sound. Amazing bass in a small speaker, not as harsh as the similarly priced W-King.

Keep an eye out on Ebay from the Anker Outlet store for the factroy refurb ones (2yr warranty). It goes down to $54 from time to time. I got mine at Christmas from the Walmart deal and it's an excellent speaker. You take the Alan Ross custom EQ settings and tweak from there. It will sound so much better than the settings from the factory.
