Takes me back to the days where you could get double duty out of your jeans, as long as your waist size didn't change. I would wear out jeans as a kid (sliding on your knees somehow didn't hurt back then but sure wore out your jeans in a hurry) and mom would cut off the legs and make shorts out of them. After turning 14 or so however, I refused to wear them. A sentiment that I carry to this day.
