1. Sign up for Google voice and select a free number.
2. Under settings -> account, Pay $3 to unlock.
3. Under settings -> voice-mail, enable "call to listen" which will allow you to add a pin. This pin will be your porting pin.

Phone number and the wireless account number will be same as the Google voice number.

So if someone has ATT unlimited plan already, is there any downside or extra cost other than 200+ full tax to get this phone? Any contract, additional line, etc? At this price point, seems like a no brainer.
