I got the 6a for free (Xfinity Mobile) and I wouldn't recommend it. Had to disable 5G to prevent constantly heating up. Wifi-calling doesn't connect automatically without toggling Airplane Mode. Fingerprint scanner is very slow and inconsistent. Battery life just barely makes it through the day. Fast charging is significantly slower than my old Moto G. Google's support answer is to just send you another refurbished model if you have a problem. No way I'd pay $400 for this phone.

Not a bad deal if you was in the market for 1 year of prepaid service. $250 for the phone and $90 for 1 year of prepaid service.

I don't believe the phone is locked. It's probably the regular 6a (same one sold by Google) but it's bundled with Mint Mobile prepaid service.
I have been trying to get more info, but as yet haven't found anything to confirm either way...

It literally says: "Unlocked No" if you scroll down to DEVICE & SERVICE DETAILS

You get a year of service. Once that year is up - the phone is unlocked. Who cares if it's unlocked in 3 or 6 months. It's unlocked after a year.

With the amount of deals on '6a' only; I'd say this is a super cheap and massively overproduced phone that has been released in a while.
