I got the 6a for free (Xfinity Mobile) and I wouldn't recommend it. Had to disable 5G to prevent constantly heating up. Wifi-calling doesn't connect automatically without toggling Airplane Mode. Fingerprint scanner is very slow and inconsistent. Battery life just barely makes it through the day. Fast charging is significantly slower than my old Moto G. Google's support answer is to just send you another refurbished model if you have a problem. No way I'd pay $400 for this phone.

Not bad. Doesn't need to trade in. Need to port in. Need to wait for unlocked after 6 months or 12 months. Speed might be throttle since it is a MVNO.

Is it unlocked at the end of the 12 months plan or do I need an extra month?
Does the plan includes all the fees?

Don't really want the phone, just the service. Flipping the phone would essentially make the service free and a earn bit on the side. So if I have to keep the phone for 12 months kind of defeats the purpose in my case
The service was crap for me. Mint mobile had very spotty service where I lived. I've read similar reports. Service degraded to edge+ downtown and completely disappeared in other places around the burbs. Never had this problem with ATT, Verizon, Xfinity or TracFone. Mint must only pay the carrier for the cheapest and lowest tier of priority to save money and increase their margin.

In the past they were very good but i just ended buy 3 get 3 promotion and my data was very poor the whole six months, switch to US mobile (GSM) and its fine so far in the same areas.

Sounds about right. When I used them in 2018 the service I don't remember any connectivity issues. But the past 2 years the service degraded quite a bit.
