The U7G listed here is far superior in almost every way to any U6 model. 120hz refresh instead of 60 and better local dimming

This has gone down as low as $599.99 before. The new U7H is coming next month (already released in Europe), that's why they're trying to clearance this as high as possible. IF and possible IF there's stock left, it will be $599.99 by next month.

Edit - The new U7H does come with the new ATSC 3.0 tuner, 2 Years warranty vs 1 year, i don't know of local dimming zones etc. I would recommend u wait until black friday, about 3 months left.

I think we will have to wait for the real testing to happen on the u6h to know the measurable differences between the latest u6h and last year's u7g.

Yes the u7g has 120hz and this is 60hz, but if you are interested in other metrics like brightness, viewing angle, response time, etc. - they have been measured on other sites but yet to be verified on the u6h by rtings.

rtings has begun their testing on the u6h https://www.rtings.com/tv/suggestions

They doing the same tests on these TVs under the same conditions, so once they are done we can truly do an apples-to-apples comparison of the u6h vs u7g.

That TV is drop shipped from Vizio themselves. My 65" came directly from their warehouse. Most likely it won't ship but fingers crossed.
