Click on both links. At checkout you should see both coupon savings and a promo code bringing the price down to around $10.18....(depending on your State Tax)

Note this is 56 Rockwell to their credit.
More from Z knives on the steel.

5Cr15MoV(GB) - Chinese equivalent of the German X50CrMoV15 steel, one of the most popular kitchen knife steels in mainstream German knives. Sometimes listed it as AISI 440A, but specs are considerably different, especially the Chromium content. Typically gets hardened to 54-56HRC, and the bigger the knife, softer the steel. There is no reason this alloy should be 54-55HRC even in the 8-10 inch long kitchen knife, but apparently to avoid issues with abusive users and lower production costs, steel is kept soft. Quite stain resistant, other than that not much to speak of in terms of edge holding.

I was in the market for a chef's knife and I was eyeing Misen which are reasonably priced high quality knives. Even if I get a year or two out of this knife It would be worth it. My current knives are dull garbage.

I'd suggest the intention is to make the consumer think they are getting a better product than they are actually getting. I didn't click the link, but am gonna guess 3rd party seller by Amazon here.

Victorinox. I've had one chefs knife for seemingly forever. It has 4 years of chopping a literal ton of onions every year, in addition to the other veg it processed. I quit that job about a decade ago, knife still going strong. I have some eye-wateringly expensive steel in my roll, but that Victorinox handles the majority of my knife work.
