Just make sure to cancel the subscription. You cancel it immediately and it will contiue for 30 days on monthly subscription.

On the Android phone or tablet where you subscribed to HBO Max, open the Play Store app. At the top right, tap your profile icon. Tap Payments & subscriptions and then Subscriptions. Tap HBO Max in your list of subscriptions, and then Cancel subscription.

and it looks like HBO Max has discounted subscription for the 1 year plans right now: $105 without ads or $70 with ads. Combined with this capital one cash back, it'd be $77 without ads or $60 with ads. That seems pretty good.

Too bad HBO Max is deleting a bunch of their originals and lowering the amount of content available, guess that's why there's a lot of sales on subscriptions now.

Always glad to check here first before impulsively purchasing. Had trouble getting the offer to show, had to go to the site and search for it but was able to offer it. $78 for a year isn't bad.

Reminder, the discounted HBO Max subscription prices are set to expire on 30 October, and the CapOne rebate offer is still available - at least for me and my Venture Card.

Just signed up for 12 months @ $70 with a promised $10 rebate, after doing the 1 month money-maker deal, as described earlier in this thread.

How did you confirm application of the offer to your account? I used the offer link from Capital One Offers and didn't go to any websites other than HBO Max, as instructed, but the discount doesn't immediately show up in my statement, and there appears to be no link in Capital One Offers that shows you offers you've qualified for. I do have a reference id for my offer though. In any case, I can't figure out whether or not Cap1 has applied the offer to my account, and I know how flaky certain unmentionable offer discount sites can be.

If we get the current hbo max deal offering first 3 months for $1.99/month and keep the subscription for 3 months,will we get capital one cashback of $8 (monthly with ads) or would we receive $1.99 or none at all?
