Wonder what has changed since their class action law suit? Just them updating their marketing hyperbole to include "when evenly distributed"?

I have something like 15 of these in my basement. They work well enough to store bins and such that are more bulk than weight. But if you're looking to store heavy stuff then you need more than chintzy MDF shelves.

If you're not in a rush there's almost always a black Friday sale on these units for considerably less.

Sam's club isn't much more, and theirs is bigger. 24x48x72 vs this one 18x36x72

How would you compare these vs the Whalen non-industrial shelves at Costco for similar price (available in store, YMMV)?

Sam's club has a bigger one as well for $75. The unit is 48" x 18" x 86". Reviews seem okay.

Walen are coated (or Laminated) MDF. I've had some for 20 years, no sags. I don't know if the newer stuff has changed.

No experience with these muscle racks.

Agreed and the wood will warp in any garage or basement. I suggest edsal metal racks. They are usually 200 bucks but will last forever. Plan or these just being replaced multiple times.

Total trash. Theres about zero hole tear-out strength keeping these together, blew out one lightly smacking it with a deadblow to put one of the pieces into another. Diy mechanic and structural engineer.

Yes. The one's with the wire racks will last your lifetime. Love the versions that are zinc plated wire racks that keep them clean and rust free.

Not sure if this has the zinc coating on the wire racks, but this is the style:

Pricing has gone up I think in the last two years. Used to be a fair amount of deals from a variety of stores before 2020.

Got 3. Thanks. I already have a few of the wire racks (72 x 36 x 18). Will try these now.

For everyone recommending Sams clubs ones, they are a bigger (deeper) and therefore heavier and is not likely to come for this price. $70 listed are all out of stock prices from old times.

The current prices for similar wire racks are $120. We'll have to wait and see what the "deal" prices are for those. The last one I remember seeing was during the amazon prime day for $50 or 60 or so which I think was a bit smaller. I should have gotten those. That was a bad miss.

I have 3 of these as well as the larger 48x24x72. These are just fine. Had 200 lbs on these for 6 months. Everyone recommending sams club most of their stuff is always out of stock for the lower prices I looked there 3 times before buying these.
