I have the half off deal, and I am honestly having a hard time justifying that. I haven't watched anything on HBO/MAX for a couple of months.

HBOmax would be better if they didn't screw up the endings of their best shows. Have they done ONE well? Westworld's recent season ender was just awful. No time to go down the list. All said, they do have my favorite collection of great "sleepers for insomniacs". Pick one; 10 minutes and I'm out cold.

It's a great service.

If you haven't had it in a few years, this seems like a decent deal as there will be a lot new to you.

Plus, if you're already considering it, and you have one of the several credit card deals that people mentioned ($25-$27 off) it seems like a no-brainer.

Anyone know of you are already a monthly subscriber how you'd take advantage of this deal? On the plans page it is currently showing $150/year for me.

I really enjoyed what HBO Max had to offer since we signed up a year ago on an offer. Here are some recommendations and reminders of what shows/movies there are:
Series:
* Barry (dark humor)
* The Righteous Gemstones (hilarious!)
* Friends
* DC's Peacemaker (hilarious!)
* Search Party (dark humor)
* West World
* The Flight Attendant (dark humor)
* Game of Thrones
* Hacks

Movies:
* The Batman
* Studio Ghibli movies (Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, and more)
* Dune
* Suicide Squad
* Harry Potter collection
* The Lord of The Rings Trilogy

Anyone have other recommendations? You can get a gist of what we liked watching from the above

I have ATT fiber which includes HBO max for free (had it for 2 years at least) and I just upgraded my plan to which they informed me I have now lost HBO max because the new plans don't offer it anymore. All these companies are corrupt scum bags honestly.

The only reason I have to keep it (and now pay for it) is because my toddler has been watching wizard of oz like every day for a month straight. Lately the content has been bleak. My wife was all excited to see the new Elvis movie but they pulled it back and delayed when it will hit the service. Seems like it's now just offering bare minimum until the merger with discovery either makes it better or puts the nail in the coffin

Meh, but thanks for the link to the deal because I gotta pony up to keep a smile on the little ones face
There are like 50 seasons of Sesame Street too which would be awesome for your toddler

for people without a CC offer, i wonder if the banner will appear using one of the top cash back websites offering $18.90.

I cancelled my sub and am waiting for the cutoff on the 22nd to try it

Euphoria is a horrible show. Teaching kids to literally be promiscuous, prostitution, and even selling sex online. Way to go
I don't watch the show itself, but know the show has received accolades. Though that's a strange criticism for a show that's geared towards adults.
