New and returning HBO Max customers can save over 40% when you pre-pay for a year by subscribing to: 1) the HBO Max Ad Free yearly plan at a discounted rate of $104.99 for the first year OR 2) the HBO Max With Ads yearly plan at a discounted rate of $69.99 for the first year (each an "Offer" and collectively, the "Offers"). Existing customers can't take advantage of the offer. They have to be new or returning customers.

At the least, you will have the let your subscription expire to maybe be eligible.
So, for example, if you have cancelled your subscription renewal but recently paid for a month from September 29th to October 29th and are still enjoying your benefits, you might have to wait until after October 29th when your service officially ends to be qualified as a "returning" customer and be eligible for this deal.
Unfortunately, for those us who have already paid for a month of service, which the duration of doesn't end until after the deal is over, cannot take advantage of this deal, regardless of whether he have cancelled the recurring subscription.
Even then, I'm not sure if you would be eligible, but that's just my guess. Though I definitely know that you are not eligible if your subscription service is still active, as I have tried this with my account.

My son likes: Sesame Street Mecha Builders and I’ve been enjoying the Not too Late show with Elmo. They have all of Sesame Street too. Esme and Roy is good too.

Would rate kids content as lower than Hulu, Netflix and Prime Video and probably even Paramount Plus. Studio Ghibli and some odd scattering of animated movies. They technically have Blippi and some other stuff which is also available on youtube. Sesame Street is the only major one I see.

You can't extend your current HBO subscription. I called customer service and confirmed that this deal is for only new and returning customers (i.e. people who already cancelled their subscription). If you want to take advantage of promotion, have to call them to cancel and get partial refund. And then apply for the promotion.

NVM. After clicking on the link there is a tiny option hiding in the upper right hand corner permitting me to sign in. When I did I had an option to select my subscription. The discounted annual subscription was there.

.. i suggest to just follow the HBO link on rk10 and sign-up for a new HBO account (shouldn't matter which credit card u use)
I don't care about movies, but here's some good tv, imo:
Most recently I loved Tokyo Vice (american journalist investigates yakuza crime drama), the latest season of Westworld, the Taika Watiti comedy Our Flag Means Death (very silly pirate show), The Flight Attendant (Kaley Cuoco comedy thriller), and Barry (dark comedy).
Looking forward to the new GoT show and (much later) the new Dune tv show

brining it down to $91.49
Now the bad is only 1080p on 4K TV tho tbh gotta look really close and have 20/20 vision to tell diff.
The worse is no HDR at all apparently. I expected to get some HDR since Amazon and others provide HDR even on 1080p movies and shows?
Also, can't download anything --which is really handy--if you want to watch on tablet with no internet connection
Dunno might cancel and just go with monthly for full experience when I really want to watch something that's only on HBO.
