I pre-ordered and got this years ago at MSRP thinking they'll retire it and the only thing has happened is the price dropped

I bought 2 from zaavi when the price was $750 thinking that would be the best deal. D'OH! haha
They arrived perfect.
I've heard others have had issues with zaavi but it was fine for me.

Ordered a Slave 1 from Zaavi showing "in stock" and it took them 5 months to get my order to me. Turns out they were oos and I believe due to covid there was an issue with restocking. I have also had good experiences with Zaavi as well on other orders. Id prob order from them again tbh. Just make sure the item is really in stock.

Quick question, do you guys buy these large Lego sets as an investment or do you actually build them? I have a couple of large Lego Technic models I haven't opened. Not because I'm keeping as an investment, I just haven't had time to start these. Thoughts?

Some people do both. Depending on the set, I might buy two - one to build and want to keep as an investment.
