Z87+ is high impact, and requires two tests:
500g spike dropped from 50 inches, and a 1/4" steel ball bearing shot at 30 different impact points at 300 feet/s (~205mph). Again, pass requires no pieces of the safety gear break free or fracture, and no contact with the eye on the test head.

alot of people take off the guard to make it easy to edge. but it throws up grass into your face.lol
