YMMV!!!

Here is the color-calibrated HP X32 icm profile via the Color Munki Display device. (124.29 cd/m2, 6511K, White point DeltaE 2000 at 0.25)
Need to change the color and image setting in the monitor for the proper color.
Menu > Color > Custom RGB > R 255, G 242, B 245
Menu > Image > Brightness 50, Contrast 80, Dynamic Contrast off, Black Stretch off, Sharpness Level 4
I try to upload in zip files in the attachment and it doesn't let me (error occurs). Instead, I use the DropBox link below.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/xgxyet1...X.zip?dl=0

For those who don't know what to do with the icm color profile.
You can add the color via the Display settings > Advanced Display Settings > Display Adapter properties for Display 1 > Color Management > Color Management > Check Box _ Use my settings for this device > Add > search for the files HP X32 icm profiles > OK > Set as Default profile > Done.
If the color of the profile is not to your liking just repeat the step above by resetting the monitor color setting and deleting the icm profiles on the computer.

Use this lagom.nl if want to know how good or bad it is. Because all monitor it is a little different.

Hope this help.

When you press any of the top four buttons (so any of the buttons except for the power button), a display shows on the right side of the screen. Pressing one of the four buttons while that display on the right side is active will activate that feature. From top to bottom, that display shows:
A box with lines
A box with a an arrow going towards the right
3 liquid droplets arranged in a triangle: Green, Red, Blue
What looks like a sun or light symbol

These indicate which button does what. The topmost button, indicated by the box with lines, is the menu button.

Turn off monitor using the power button.
While the monitor is powered off, hold the menu button down.
While holding the menu button down, press the power button, but do not hold it.
Once the HP logo shows up on screen, release the menu button.
Once the monitor fully turns on, press the menu button and access the menu. You'll note that the menu has a new option on the bottom left that is pre-selected in green: Service. Right off the bat it gives you the panel model number, the scaler, the FW Package Version, and the HW Revision.

Hope that helps.

It depends really, some gamers like to see the bigger pixels as it can be a competitive advantage when you're looking for 1 pixel to determine when someone's peeking in an FPS, but generally you want to be able to have a whole field of vision without moving your head left or right to take in everything going on. Curved screens are supposed to make this a little better, but I haven't had much experience with curved screens myself.

Otherwise, the other possible problem is pixel density which is a factor for making the content on the screen look better generally which might be more important for single-player non-competitive experiences. The bigger the screen, the higher the resolution you'd want so you don't see the pixels when you're taking in the experience (whether a game or movie); this can be partially alleviated by distancing your face away from the screen which is typically the case when you're watching TV or playing console games. For PC usage, you're generally pretty close to the monitor so the opportunity is higher that you'll be able to discern the pixels. The other downside is even if the monitor can push those higher resolutions, your hardware might require a significant upgrade to support it.

Back to pixel density, this monitor's PPI (pixels per inch) is 93. The Dell U2722D's (27-inch) is 109. As mentioned before, TVs tend to have lower PPI since it takes into account the distance most people would be from it, the LG OLED55C1PUB's (55-inch 4K) is 80 while the much bigger LG OLED83C1PUA's (83-inch 4K) is 53. The whole idea of TVs going 8K is to close that gap and make content look crisper for really large displays (if you stick your face close enough to the TV to make out the difference), so the LG OLED88Z2PUA's (88-inch 8K) is 101.

In contrast, most smartphones (because you're likely to stick it right in front of your face) have a much higher PPI, the Google Pixel 6 Pro's is 411.

Well you are just putting yourself at a disadvantage.. unless you're getting competitive in truck simulator or something haha. The goal is to not move your eyes and especially not move your head. Everything should be perfectly in your view looking straight at the monitor. This is why every pro in every esport uses 24-25 inch monitors. You'll never ever see anything smaller or bigger. 27 inch is acceptable but anything past that is just bad. There's a fine balance between sitting close to the monitor so you can see every pixel and also having everything in your view.

Everyone keeps saying 32 is too big. Is there a reason you feel 32 is better than your 27 one? Thanks in advance ☺️
Big monitors are amazing if you just want an entertaining gameplay experience. But for competitive hardcore gaming, stick with 24-25. It's your choice at the end of the day.

Would this be good for a Macbook Air M1? My son's heading off to college this week and I wanted to get him a nice monitor as a going away gift. I've been looking at the 4K monitors, but the price on this is hard to beat. Would the display look bad on the M1? Thanks for the help!

That's a personal opinion. And a personal preference. But I respect your thoughts nonetheless

LOL are we still talking about monitors here?
And if so, whats your KD bro, if its not at least 5.0 you might need to go to a smaller monitor.

What's the difference if you have a 24 inch monitor that's 2 ft from your face or a 35 inch monitor that's three or four feet from your face?

Hello all.

I purchased the ACER Nitro 5 and the laptop only has a hdmi 2.1 port. I saw on a review of this monitor that I would need DP in order to take advantage of the features of this monitor is that true?

For competitive play its a huge difference. The one comment above hit it head on. You don't see really any esports competitive gamers using huge monitors for gaming. They need to be alot closer to see small details especially at far distances on games cause the slightest delay and they are most likely done for or can cost a team. If its a 32 or bigger it really gets tough because now you basically have to move your head to notice details on the sides of the monitor screen. My friend just recently got into rocket league competitive tournaments and had to go from a ultra wide to a 27 just because he couldnt see the sides of the play field properly.

These monitors will continue to drop in price with the over production due to the pandemia.
I don't like this one much - only 1 HDMI and 1 DP and no speakers. I hook it up to a laptop and speakers are a must for boring meetings. The bezel and back are too thick compared to the LG one. But good price, though
