Note: I know it is listed as QHD (16:9) on the site but this is DQHD (32:9)

The widest wide listed on the list of common resolutions [wikipedia.org] is UWQHD (21:9) but this is 52% wider.

I bought one so I dug into it.

I would love to have one of these, but I'm running dual 32" 1440P 165hz Dell monitors that aren't very old. Wife would filet me if I bought this. Sigh.
Time to change the wife.

Damn, that's insane. My main concerns with the newer cards is that they're going to be more expensive, and you're going to need a beefy PSU to run them.
Just wait a little bit. I don't think the 4000 series is going to take that much more power than the 3000 series.

You better buy the monitor after you get rid of the wife if not she's going to take half of it with her, and you'll be stuck with one 1440p monitor

So we hope... unfortunately with the new "arms race" in both the CPU & GPU world, pushing power limits higher is the easiest & cheapest method of adding more performance to eek ahead of the competition.

Didn't everyone say to avoid Gamestop on this deal last time? The return policy sucks from what I recall.
Yup, I bought a monitor from them. It arrived dead. They said talk to Samsung. Called Samsung they said if it arrived dead talk to gamestop. Avoid at all costs

More folks need to see this comment. This is a great price if the monitor works perfectly. If it doesn't you're totally SOL.

You can indeed, using the monitor's settings in the built-in OS.
