If you're not in a rush to pick up the magnetic wrist strap, you just put it on a shopping list in your phone (or remember) and pick it up at hf next time you're there for a different tool you need. I usually have like 3 random things hf has for super cheap that I'm running low on (like extra super glue, gloves, etc) on my hf shopping list before I go there for an urgent task and I just get all of them at the same time. Hardly any time wasted and no extra gas spent.
Shopping lists at multiple stores for non-urgent items are useful for saving money without wasting a bunch of time.
