I have to say from trying it out in-store, these seem very sturdy and well built as long as they're assembled correctly. Together we weigh 400lbs and had no trouble swinging in them at the display in store.

I got one as a gift early this year.

I weigh almost 300, it is comfortable, my wife uses it with me.

The bad: The head cushion elastic wore out the cushion lost the shape and is flat and it takes a bit of effort to recline. Also the roof ripped off due to almost tornado type winds. So many trees and limbs were all over town.

Now the good. The company replaced all the broken parts, we didn't mention the wind. It's comfortable. I greased the contact for a quiet swing. I enjoy the thing. After a rain it drys quick due to it only having head cushions.

Retail seems high, but imop it's worth 250.

Who replaced parts, walmart or mainstay?
And did you buy additional warranty?

I have had this swing for a few years now. I agree with the comment about the head cushions. The elastic is totally worthless. If I don't use it for a while the tunes leal out rust. So be careful what you're wearing. My other problem is that the seats and pillows have faded. It looks more pink then red.

Sounds like another "invention" by a scientist rejected from all reputable institutions.

What's next, sir, a zero gravity rocking chair? NASA is probably kicking themselves for passing you up.

Its steel so itll rust out in a couple years. I have an aluminum one thats going on 30 years and still looks great. Had to replace some vinyl seat straps once that stretched out.

I've had a bungee seat version of this for years that I would like to replace, but I can't convince myself that a gravity recliner swing is a good idea.

Edit: This (or something similar used to sell under the Mainstay brand). https://www.walmart.com/ip/Outsun...hbdg=L1700
