I have this mouse for work and it's worked perfect so far. Been a 1.5 months and battery still shows as full. All though the description doesnt say it, you can also adjust the DPI using software. Connects really easily and feels nice in the hand.

is this true? Is there a significant lag for most daily uses (web browsing, emailing, word processing)?
I'm using the exact mouse now and there's no lag. I've been using it for almost a year and it's one of my favorite mice. It can remember up to 3 devices, which is super convenient.

I will never get another Microsoft mouse. The two different models I got both had their rubber degrade to sticky glue, like touching fly paper.

As a decade and a half long Logitech m510 user who got one of these a few months ago, I absolutely love it

Aside from the locking scroll wheel button, this seems nearly identical to the Logictech M705.

Does anyone know if the mouse wheel is the typical Microsoft wheel where it just spins freely, versus most other mice that have the incremental detents, if you know what I mean?

When did we have the meeting where we all voted that a successful click no longer had to be in the box, it has be in exact X of the square?

Not silent click. I do love this mouse and may pick up another as a spare or travel mouse.

I have been using this mouse for the last 6 months, Rock solid and this is a great price. I remember paying around 45 at Amazon.
I never had to connect or disconnect even once in the last 6 months.

I find myself using the logitech wheel lock all the time. Scrolling three lines at a time just doesn't make sense in many situations.

After having two separate M510's develop the notorious double-click issue that has plagued Logitech for a while, and using the small Microsoft Mobile Mouse 4000 was causing hand/wrist strain, I bought a knock-off Logitech MX Master 2 by VictSing in 2018 that has been rock solid.

It appears they no longer make it, but one major use case for me has been the horizontal scroll wheel. I've found it massively helpful if you live in Excel, SQL or other programs that require a lot of horizontal scrolling. If I didn't have that need then I would consider this as the ergo looks similar to the one I currently have, sans the scroll wheel.

Just something for folks to consider when looking for an ergonomic mouse for work if they haven't thought of it already.

This deal happens a few times a year. It's a good deal, but if you don't need a mouse now, you'll likely find this price again.
