Still it is refurbished phone. You never know what was wrong with it in the first place, and even if it looked new problems could arise in the future especially if replacements are subpar. They will not be covered under Apple basic warranty because refurbished are not eligible for warranty.

Can anyone confirm from experience that you only need to pay for 1 month of service and not 2-3 months to get the phone unlocked? Their written policy is ambiguous imho.

Yes. They're owned by Verizon so they use the same policies. Most of them will Auto Unlock. Some people have had to call. Mine automatically unlocked (only paid one month)

Never shipped SIM card in device box, even though they gave me a SIM card number, Called to tell them, then they made me pay for a "new" SIM card.
