The display is fantastic but the keyboard really, really sucks for any productive work in this whole 15 series with number pad.
In the dumbest of designs, they have put the touch pad smack in the middle of the extended keyboard with number pad. There is no way to fast type on this without right palm or finger touching the touchpad while typing that makes the cursor jump around. People put a credit card or some obstruction over the right side of the touch pad to prevent this while typing.
The keys also have very mushy feedback that results in missed or double key presses. There is very little space between the main keyboard and the number key pad and with the tiny enter key, you keep hitting the number key next to it (especially when you are contorting your hand not to touch the touchpad while typing).
They keep doing this design and aren't listening to feedback.

Seems like ASUS is aware of this cause the 2022 Vivobook 15 Pro has fixed both issues. The touch pad is centered on the space bar, and the return key is a lot wider.

Finally, some change. But the touch pad is still too wide for the right hand to not interfere with it. They are stuck with that size because of the units with ScreenPad (I have this and never use it). You don't really need that wide a touch pad.
Have they really put a chevron-like marking on the Enter key? Not that it helps touch typing. It is still too close to the number pad keys.
The people who design the ASUS keyboard seem to rely on symmetry and aesthetics than functionality and UX.

Yeah I hate touchpads and always use a mouse when possible so I never really thought about it but thanks for the heads up!
Maybe the 14.5" Vivobook Pro 14x is the one to get cause it has no number pad, but it's crazy expensive ($1700) and has only a 3050 Ti. The 15x and 16x have 3060s and are not much more ($1900 for 15x, 16x not priced yet). That's crazy money for a laptop these days.
I got spoiled by the $500 Zenbook OLED deal I got for my kid and now must have an OLED.
