$10.68 after 25% off first S&S, this should last me several decades. Thank you!
Hopefully you don't get infested by indian meal months. I've lost 25 pounds of unopened risotto rice to them, unopened bags of walnuts and almonds, and even chocolate bars that whole foods had on sale.. They chew through plastic and lay their eggs and leave webs inside otherwise pristine packages. I keep everything in sealed glass jars now. :/

I believe Alton Brown had this issue last year as well.

Anybody have advice on how to prevent weevils? Just lost some rice to them.
I put all my rice in a ziplock bag and keep it in the freezer

I keep a sealed jar full of rice handy. The remainder I vacuum seal into more realistic sized blocks. So when the jar empties I crack open a new one.

You have to keep it sealed at all times 😁 that happened to me a few years ago. Since then I haven't had it happen again.

Put bag of rice in freezer first. It will kill them so they won't hatch out.

This is a pretty mediocre basmati rice. If you eat basmati rice once in a while then buy Daawat or India Gate from Indian grocery store if you have one nearby. Of course those will be costlier then this.
