It's too bad these lower line 6000 series don't have the 680M graphics.

WFH? Cost as competing with EVs?

Any experience with issues with new Lenovo laptops? I ordered one from the previous deal and there's some sort of speaker crackle. Is it easier to exchange or just rebuy and return? Debating moving up to the T14 for the slightly larger screen and 32GB RAM. Is the keyboard any larger on the T14? Losing USB4 could be a longer-term limitation.

I went to costco to look at laptops to compare matte and glossy screens. Once i saw matte i don't even want gloss anymore. Problem is i want slim 7i x pro but only european model comes with the matte screen. us model is glossy. i don't want it anymore. i want a more powerful cpu and 32gb ram. Intel with usb4 for future external graphics with an adapter. I can't stand glossy screen. Maybe matte aren't 4-500 nits but gloss reflection is worse for me than a dim screen. Now i'll take anything with fast intel cpu and matte screen, 32g ram, 14". Tired of waiting.

Seems like a solid laptop and decent specs. A bit cheaper than a few weeks ago as well.

Glad to know your personal habits and your plan for next couple of years and not considering complete irreverent post. Are you ever gonna stop this TC?

And there's no guarantee that this particular trim will have the 54.7 Whr battery. The OP says that it has 54.7 Whr, but it's not mentioned anywhere in the product page. What's mentioned is that there's 2 types of batteries for the model lineup: 41 Whr and 54.7 Whr. Realists should expect the lower one to be included as this is a "Doorbuster." It's the debacle of the P16s all over again.

As someone whose SO ordered a P16s, I would go in with the same realistic outlook. The P16s has terrible battery life.

IBM sold their thinkpad division to Lenovo several years ago, so to answer your question, yes they are

I would say for the fact that it has soldered memory at the very least at 16 GB, The integrated GPU is not going to exceed the 16 GB of memory. But don't expect to do any software that requires more than 16 GB of memory

Third party sites mean nothing, it has to be an official Lenovo page. Remember you also posted this site for the P16s deal where they stated the 80 Whr battery? The stages of denial on that P16s deal is hilarious. LMAO
