The notes say if you have a Sirius radio Stern is standard, but not if you have an XM or SiriusXM radio.


I think my car is XM, but I can't stand Stern anyway.

I have had a SXM subscription in my vehicle for 8 years, never an issue receiving annual retention offers of around $5 per month, for 12 months, which included Howard Stern. My plan expires in mid-September, cancelled when the retention agent was unwilling/unable to do better than the OP's plan. Will allow the current plan to lapse, see if SXM will sweeten the pot.

This has streaming. What it lacks from the Platinum Plan is Howard Stern, Personalized Pandora stations, Stitcher premium podcasts, and some video content.

I'd actually consider this if they didn't almost double the price after their bogus "music fees". Apparently nobody has ever told them that those are a cost of doing business and should be coming out of their own pockets, not their customer's.

And before anyone chimes in and states that the customer would be paying it anyway, yeah, I realize that. At least if they paid it themselves, they couldn't defraud their customers by advertising these low rates and then hit them with these BS fees that they hide in the fine print. I got had once, and only once. Never came back again, nor will I ever until they stop with their shady tactics to wrangle in unsuspecting people.

I just switched my and my wifes accounts to this $5 for 24 months. And I actually just renewed hers last month for $6 for 12 months. They didn't give me any trouble to switch.
