Deal Details
Walmart has the iPhone SE 3rd Gen (2022) 64GB (Midnight or Starlight) for $5/month for 36 months ($180 total) for upgrade or new lines on Verizon postpaid. Plus usual taxes and activation/upgrade fees. Free shipping.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Verizo...1690788542

128GB available for $252 total, 256GB for $360 total. Different colors (including Product Red) available depending on capacity selected.

To address some common questions in previous threads with this kind of Walmart iPhone deal:

1. You need to be on Verizon postpaid. Upgrade a current eligible line or add a new line to a new or current plan.

2. No bill credits involved. Must initiate a device payment plan. Can pay off balance whenever afterwards and cancel plan or free up line upgrade.

3. From personal experience, I think these Walmart iPhones have US Reseller Flex Policy out of the box; they take on the SIM lock policy of the first major US carrier SIM used to activate the phone. If activated with the included or your existing Verizon SIM, it's locked to Verizon for 60 days, etc. From a similar previous deal, I accidentally activated the phone with an old T-Mobile SIM and carrier locked it to T-Mo. Don't know what happens when you activate using a prepaid or MVNO SIM card though. Regardless, you will still owe Verizon the total amount financed.

This is the best deal on iPhone SE 5G so far, and frankly the best iPhone SE since the original.
Nope. Visible $300 Amazon gift card after three months and unlocked in two. This is a bad deal especially since their monthly data charges and taxes and fees are so sky high.

Currently $200 gift on Visible, not $300. It might go up again though.
With that said, this is not a bad deal for existing VZW customers only

I don't consider Visible a reliable or ethical deal, that's why I don't count it. Way too many denials and issues, and I'm at the point of boycotting them. This is the lowest true price, that isn't a scam/risk.

And that's before all the network issues people are having with Visible right now, making national news.

Money where my mouth is, ordered one from Walmart tonight for my mom.

Agreed. And to remind you, it's called SlickDeals, not SlickMightBeADeal.

There are plenty of places to gamble. This doesn't have to be one of them.

All providers have computer issues from time to time. A six month old article isn't a harbinger of most customer's experiences with Visible. The Walmart deal is just another name for a three-year contract.

So how will it work if I wanted to payoff the phone and cancel the plan. Will there be any catch? I don't mind leaving it locked for 60 days in a drawer.

Do not buy this phone. Battery on this utter dog sssssssssss. This whole tech is based on iPhone 8.
But it has 5G support, and the same processor used in iPhone 13 (A15; the most advanced iPhone processor yet). It should have at least 5 years of free iOS updates.

Does this mean you can pay it off and do one more afterward? thanks

Yes. You can do another one since it's fully paid off. I did the same from Best Buy.

Anybody know what the maximum number of upgrades Verizon allows a line per year? I did too many upgrades for couple Verizon lines from Best Buy and now Verizon won't let me upgrade anymore.
