I have a relative of this, a smooth jaw parallel pliers from Irwin. It is like a cross between a Crescent wrench and "channel lock" pliers. The "channel" is very easy to move, one way just goes and the other needs to press on the spring loaded button. Then just squeeze the handles and it goes to the right size. I got it on a rebate deal and am very happy with it.
