My lawn has been thriving on this stuff.
I live in MD. Works well with my lawn, Kentucky 31 tall fescue.
I see that on BS, it's $11 near where I live.
Will try to buy 5 bags if I can locate them on BS.
Same price as last year, November, it was $11 for this 43 lbs bag.
Great deal.

I used to be a Scott's user but tried Milorganite this spring in an attempt to resurrect a badly neglected yard. Core aerated, seeded, and fertilized. I was astonished to see how great the Milorganite worked. Same grass seed as in prior years but with much better results. The fertilizer impact lasted a really long time versus the high nitrogen short term boost. The grass seemed healthier and did better in this year's heat and drought. I bought the Milorganite at a Rural King for a good price and expect to do so again in another month for fall/winter.

The key to a weed free lawn is using pre emergent (prodiamine) twice a year. Once in the fall and again in late winter before the grass starts to green up. Some will also put it down mid summer. I use Lesco stonewall.
Put this Scott's (post emergent) down in the spring AFTER your lawn is completely green. It will only kill the weeds it comes into contact with. It will NOT kill future weeds. I usually have a mid to late summer problem with chamber bitter /gripeweed. Celsius is the only thing that will kill it without harming the lawn.
