They're the same parent company. In fact I bought a guitar from musician's Friend that got shipped from guitar center.

I've looked around and it doesn't seem so. In my experience, if it doesn't advertise it, it likely doesn't have weight relief.

Yes, but i always buy from musician's friend so i can get the 8 percent rewards credit. You get back $32 in credit for a $400 guitar.
