You almost never need as much soap as recommended. Start with one and, if your clothes are not clean, move up.

Tide, Gain, Persil, All, "any brand"and with all of them I use 1-3 pods/per wash gauging by how full the drum is.

1/3 = 1 pod

1/2 = 2 pods

2/3 = 3 pods

Just ballpark it.

I use one pod but I don't stuff my washer machine to the "gills" because my drum is kind of small and I noticed that I don't get that slime residue when the pods don't dissolve properly. Laundry may take longer but at least I don't waste time re-washing clothes.

In other threads, people said that Simply is lower quality, watered down, and doesn't have the enzymes the regular Tide uses.

I'm currently using the Simply liquid and don't notice a difference. Maybe for more soiled clothes, you notice the difference in quality.

This wholly depends on which style of pods you're using. Some of them are the larger variety and require only 1 for even medium loads

Yes, common sense is required.

*I am not knocking you, just saying it's needed in this context laundry shenanigans
