I think this is the one I got from a while back but the only bad part I know of off the top of my head is why they put the webcam on the hinge, I shall never know.
that and the fact this is a last gen i7. but since some slick dealers like to moan and cry about it, you do you. expecting a current gen CPU to cost the same as 2 or 3 gens ago is stupid.
I'd go with the Costco one. Even though the gpu and the screen are not as good but overall it's a much better machine. Newer cpu and ddr5. One of the best thermals in class.

Disagree - I'd take the better graphics card and display at the same price any day over ddr5 and a one generation difference in CPU. There's no going to be any real noticeable difference with ddr5 that a human can actually tell, and the difference in CPU is minimal. 3070 vs 3060 is a pretty big upgrade, along with the display.

what about build quality/cooling, how do you think the ge76 vs this compare in your opinion?
im personally torn.. im curious what improvements 4000 series Nvidia laptop card brings. next year the next model will be 1199/1299 probably too. also, I guess they clearances out the i7-11800h for 900 in stores. maybe this laptop will get on clearance for 900. I will definitely be watching.

If these were same model but different specs I'd agree with you wholeheartedly but aorus vs raider is not so simple in my opinion. Check reviews on aorus , lots of them have multiple problems while raider is as good as they come from MSI.

Add to this the fact that ddr4 is much cheaper to upgrade to 32gb+ right away

If you're not going to move around a lot with your laptop.. MSI would be good..
If you want portability, Gigabyte is better..
