How well do these work as a computer monitor?
This one won't be great for that but if you're looking for a tv that can do well as a monitor you should look at LG C2

We just went through a remodel and mounting one of these ourselves. You can mount the box behind the screen, but you need a cut out in the wall and apparently that shouldn't go on an external wall. You can also punch through an interior wall and put the box in another room. There's a sensor on the front of the TV to pick up the remote signal.

There's the One Connect cable that is translucent and handles everything. So you put all you HDMIs, power, whatever into the box and then the One Connect goes from the box to the TV. One Connect is a fiber optic cable and can be delicate. We threaded our cable through conduit in the wall, up into the attic, and down to a hallway closet and it didn't break, but others haven't been so lucky if you believe online reviews. Also, if you need more than the cable that comes with it, like we needed additional footage, Samsung is zero help. The 15m cable is about $250 on Amazon and you can't even get it for months. We lucked out getting a used one. And to someone else's comment, you can see the One Connect cable and it would drive me nuts, too. The whole point of the TV is to not look like a TV, so the cable probably wouldn't bother most people, but it would me.

It's decent picture quality, but not amazing. You buy it for Art Mode, but not football games (although I find the picture more than adequate). The TV is glitchy, too. Like someone else mentioned, it's supposed to be motion detected, but that usually doesn't work. There's also an auto volume feature that's hit-or-miss. The menus aren't the most intuitive and can be clunky.

We mounted a 65" version over a fireplace, which is really the focal point of the room and why we wanted it. The slim look at way it hangs on the wall is great. It was sort of a beast to hang because it feels quite delicate. We managed, but it would probably be worth hiring someone so you don't have the stress of dropping it. Purely personal opinion, it needs a physical frame to not look like a giant TV on the wall, even in Art Mode. The DecoTV frames are pricey...$699 for a 65" TV. Ouch.

One final note, if you do get the Frame ONLY CLEAN IT WITH A MAGIC ERASER. I happened to read that someone ruined their Frame by wiping it with a dry microfiber cloth. Sure enough, Samsung only recommends a dry Magic Eraser. I'm so glad I happened across that info before I dusted my TV.

All in all, I think this TV is worth it if you really want Art Mode and you're willing to put up with it having some glitches. I'm not willing to pay an additional $700 for a physical frame and I'll probably try to make one at some point.

I got the 55" on the last Woot deal, wish I got the 65". But aside from that, it's a great TV, I'm glad I got it. For the price, you can get a better picture quality TV, but as others said, you're paying for the super clean looks and form factor.

I like the Art mode a lot and use it daily in my home office, I upload pictures of of family on vacation. There are also many free stock art images that come with it. The rest of the images must be purchased for $20 or sign up for their subscription service.

To hide the wire, I drilled a hole (1" I think) behind the TV where the one connect wire comes out of the TV, dropped the wire to the bottom of the wall where I have other plugs (cat 5, etc) and pulled the one connect wire out from there. I took a Leviton blank plate and drilled a small hole in it and dremeled a small channel to get the wire into the middle of it, look pretty clean. If you do this, be careful handling the wire. Samsung sells a separate wire that's made for running behind the wall, kind of pricy, $150 or more I think.

I have a QLED 900R and this 55 inch tv. I have this one in my bed room. This is so good tv. Looks really nice in the wall and very easy to mount too. The price is good.

Can you point me to a link. I've been indoctrinated for so long to not use chemicals on screens that I'd need to read an official source to believe. It would definitely make cleaning all the screens in the house easier. TY

It's not all the screens in your house. It's the 2022 Samsung Frame TVs with their special matte screens.

on Samsung.com you can get these for the same price as OP listed but it comes with a free bezel as well. Might be worth the look.

I couldn't believe this either as it seems to go against everything I have been taught, but sure enough:

"Cleaning the 2022 Frame or Serif TV
The 2022 Frame TV (LS03B) and 2022 Serif TV (LS01B) have a special reflective surface that is designed to reduce glare. However, some fingerprints and smudges will be harder to clean because of it. Try using a microfiber cloth, but if it doesn't work you can use a melamine foam sponge (magic eraser). Follow these steps exactly to clean the screen:

Turn off the TV and unplug the power cord.

Lightly dampen a microfiber cleaning cloth with a few drops of water and gently wipe the stain.

Important: Do not wet the sponge before wiping the TV. Only lightly dampen the stain using the microfiber cloth as described in step 2. Do not use any cleaning solutions.

Gently clean the stain with the melamine foam sponge before the water dries up."

As an owner of an LG E9 (and a huge proponent of OLED TVs), I would be hesitant to recommend an OLED as a dedicated monitor. I have my PC connected to my OLED TV, but don't use it for any type of productivity work where static elements are displayed on screen for long periods of time - it's used for gaming and media almost exclusively. There are dedicated OLED monitors available now that would be better suited to dedicated PC use than the C2. It all depends on your intended use case, so be aware of the image retention risks before you jump in.
