My recommendation to anyone, if buying this brand or not, is to go to a running shoe store and let them make a recommendation for you. You may have great arches and are perfectly aligned — then you need a different model than the one I use. Some of these stores have sensors than can detect your balance or supination/pronation issues (if any) and make recommendations across a variety of brands and models.
Once you know what shoe is right for you, buy it and try it (keep a store in business 🤷🏽 ♂️). If it works well, you can shop sales like this and just always buy the same model. Whenever my model comes up on deep sale (~$70-80), I buy two or three pairs at a time.
Oh, and when you wear the shoe down, they make good weekend shoes since you won't need as much grip. After that, fantastic yard shoes 😆

I'm a runner and a Nike fan. I have multiple pairs of the Pegasus 38s, Invincibles, Tempo Next %. The Speed 2s are hyped like crazy on r/runningshoegeeks so I bought a pair. They're honestly great. They're a narrow shoe and definitely like to go fast. I would not recommend them for walking or slow jogging. I'm probably eventually going to get a pair of the Pros because I like the Speed 2s so much.

I usually buy from saucony.com(check there as well and compare prices). This Woot deal is less than half off, 50% off is my 'buy' discount for shoes.
I'm surprised they let you post something so long. Saucony is a well known brand. I have a couple pairs and like the Endorphins best. I haven't tested them in wet conditions but my other pair was a little slippery in the rain.

I own both the pros and the speeds and I prefer the speeds over the pros even on a race day. I feel like i get more of a bounce on the nylon plate than the carbon plate. Also i like the feel of the shoe lacing on the speeds, it feels way more comfortable
