    I read the PS4 version has a free PS5 upgrade. So if you have PS4 friends and want to pass it around later, go that route. Or if you're going to resell, probably more customers on PS4.

    I almost bought this bc I love the art style of it, but reading the reviews and watching angry joe review.... this is not for me. This is compared directly to games like Returnal, ie rougelike, so you end up playing the same parts over and over and over. I HATED Returnal, so just for that, I'm saving my $30. Maybe at $10 or I bet you it shows up on PS+ since it is technically an indie title.

    I loved Returnal and beat it but I can see how it might not be for everyone. It's also really hard.

    This game is awesome. One of the few I've cared to get platinum on. Be aware, it is no joke. It's Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Sekiro level hard. At least at first. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes much more manageable. Most people won't be able to beat it, though, even with the "easy" mode they patched in. Also, it's a Rogue-like. So, you have to replay, and replay and replay to earn enough points to permanently unlock skills.

    I despised Returnal, but even though the replaying over and over aspect is similar, it's a much different game. This game is an absolute blast, though it is hard has s*** until you get the hang of it and get good at dodging.

    You beat a level and it saves your progress after the level, you only go back to other levels to try to finish it at a better status to carry on thru the rest of the game. There are 5 levels or so and they can be tought depending on your skill
