This is true, but FYI for everyone, if you pay for the item with Paypal and return it, you can get Paypal to reimburse you for the cost of return shipping, up to $30 USD per claim on 12 eligible purchases a year.

There is some effort required to submit a claim but it has worked for me.

I've had quality issues on at least two pairs of shoes from Joe's New Balance Outlet. Anyone else have the soles or tread come unglued?

Adding to this and given the comment about PayPal is true, JNBO will try and charge return shipping even if they deliver the wrong product. A bit of a headache but its they are the cheapest option out there, so I still buy from them.

Thank you! Unfortunately, I'm on the phone with Joe's customer service and they're telling me that it's impossible to cancel an order once it's been placed. Seems pretty ridiculous to me.

The rep spoke to her supervisor and said that a ticket was created the refund me the amount I would've saved with the eBay coupon ($8.00) and that I'll be notified be email once the ticket has been reviewed. I guess I'll wait and see.

2E is sometimes called "wide" and 4E is sometimes called "extra wide". I have found 12 2E and 12 4E both fit me well enough. I don't think 4E is really crazy wide, there are 6E and beyond but those are much harder to find I think.
