Looks ginormous no?
Took about a week for me to get used to competition bells from a hardstyle bell. I say the best part is that once you get used to it, your technique will carry over to any weight. Only adjustment you're making will be for the weight since the shape is the same.

How long does it take to adjust the weight on these? Seeing a wrench in the picture has me wondering.

Looks like it to me. They did the same thing 2 days ago. Went back to the page and saw the same price increase. I say check back in a day or in the evening and the price might drop. If not then this is probably a dead deal already. Either way, $200 is still great for this bell. But yeah, I would come back and check again.

I've been swinging my bowflex balls for the past year. They are a quick turn on the knob for different weight increments, much faster adjustments. These are heavier though, for you ladies and gents that prefer really big balls. happy swinging.

I ordered last night and it was 180, now showing 200 for me too. Still costs less than what I overall paid for my 16kg and 24kg bells a few years ago.

Wait...is someone really planning on disassembling / reassembling this between every exercise to change the weight? While this is the most kettlebell-ish adjustable kettlebell, it is by far the least user friendly.

Sorry for the dumb question, but as someone with a set of powerblocks dumbbells, am i missing much not having kettlebells? I know kettlebell swings look great. But otherwise it seems like a lot of movements can be done with dumbbells. So do people tend to invest in dumbbells or kettlebells but not both?
Swings, snatches, long cycle. Especially if you get doubles.

Adjusting the weight looks extremely cumbersome. I'm not sure one should expect to be adjusting this multiple times in a training session.

Also I'm not quite sure of the point. If you are a kettlebell enthusiast, you will want individual kettlebells anyway and not want to be literally taking out a wrench to disassemble and reassemble with each weight change. If you are not an enthusiast, then you really just need 2 or 3 different weights. There are not really many good reasons to want to fine tune your kettlebell weight like a barbell unless maybe you do kettlebell-specific competitions.

I watched a review on these kettlebells and it only takes a minute or two to switch out:

Also depending on your goals you might not need to adjust it every workout.

You absolutely want to be able to microlaod the kettlebell. It makes it much easier to progress. I use kettlebells every work out and rarely change weights. Kettlebells are more of an endurance type of tool, you want to progress with volume/time moreso than weight. These are much cheaper than buying separate kettle bells
