This usually isn't favorable because IPS has worse contrast than VA panels. If you need wide viewing angles, then the loss in contrast may be worth what IPS brings to the table in that regard. It seems like some tvs that were designed from the start with ADS or IPS panels, and use mini-led tend to do better, like the LG QNED 85 or the Samsung QN85B. This is different, because Hisense just swaps out the panel when the rest of the sizes were all designed around VA panels.
