So since they are just batteries there is only a 3yr warranty? Or because there are 4 and not just 1 it's a kit and is a LSA?

All new batteries are LSA kit or not.

All the ridgid batteries come with a lifetime warranty now if you register them online.

It's stated on the HD site: Lifetime Service Agreement with registration within 90 days of purchase

Based on my purchase history the batteries are covered under the LSA.

Register your product and upload a copy of your invoice. I always include the delivery confirmation email as well. I will call their toll-free number if the registration is not completed after 3 weeks and have the rep review and complete the registration through the call.

You must be an original owner and have bought it from an authorized retailer for it to be LSA. I think its fair for the company to ask. Don't expect to get LSA from stolen items or bought at swap meet.

You don't have to register to get a warranty as they automatically come with the 3-year warranty.

But if you want the lifetime service agreement in addition to the standard warranty, you have to register for that.

That's good to know. However, I'm only a few pieces away from having the system I want built out. It sure is nice to be able to log in to my account and see every piece down the batter chargers even show the LSA seal on the website.
