Just get the bowflex dumbbells and they take up no space. There are a ton of exercises that you can do that far surpass this giant workout machine.

Just get the bowflex dumbbells and they take up no space. There are a ton of exercises that you can do that far surpass this giant workout machine.

No you don't. I had a Bowflex elite which is very similar to this one and should it. Now I have the FTX and it is way better.

I don't recommend anyone buy Bowflex machine. The dumbbells are worth by the way

Exactly my thoughts. I'm 50 and I used the Extreme SE for a while. Past 6 months I've used the dumbbells exclusively. If your goal is to just get some exercise, maybe tone up a little and have no expectations of gaining muscle, then this may be the product for you. If you want to gain some muscle mass and become stronger, then the dumbbells would be a better option. Plenty of exercises you can find online and start a routine. Haven't used the Extreme SE since I got the dumbbells.
