Actually, the Blackstone is a better griddle but the Sam's club deal was for a 22" dual burner which makes it a better features deal (I have both griddles). Blackstone does cold rolled steal griddles where as the Sam's club brand is hot rolled. I *think* that hot vs cold rolled for this size griddle might not be a big deal but you definitely want cold rolled for the bigger sized griddle surface.

The first thing I realized when I bought the Blackstone 17" adventure ready griddle was: I should have bought the 22" for the dual burner control Smilie Don't get me wrong the 17" is great at camp for a few people. I also have the Blackstone backpack for the 17" griddle which makes it easy to pack and carry. But sometimes you just wish you had an extra burner control!

Brickseek says MSRP is 74. Does that mean Walmart is price gouging on their website. It's only 17 bucks discount then.

I thought about that but in the specs for the one from Sam's it said that using a 20lb tank was not recommended because the lines couldn't handle it. Chose against buying it because of that.

That's because that is what it used to be. But pricing went up because of shortages. Even target had it for about the same price.
