I freeze my breads, and that requires a bit of extra cook time. Otherwise, I would assume other varieties of dense or non-traditional bread could increase cook time.

Refrigeration stales bread faster than leaving it out. Always, always, freeze bread immediately.

Dang are these burning down houses or something? We cashed in on the $25 deal. Seems like a great deal... but now my kids want to make 4 pieces of bread everytime they want 1 piece.

7 shade settings…Why do toasters have a setting that lets you literally torch bread with the strength of the sun? Who is eating it like that? There should be two settings light toast and regular toast.

I have a bad habit of wasting tons of bread. Do you usually put it in the freezer the minute you get home or do you let it sit out for a few days or put it in the fridge first?

You must have never ordered double toasted at Starbucks. How else you expect me to eat my bacon gouda sandwich besides a solar fly-by, that sweet sweet plasma taste. Nothing quite like it.

As for this toaster, I'd say it's either too many slots or not enough.

Good toaster. The right side did break within 1 month though. No longer went down. Luckily was able to exchange it. Two months in since then no issues. Fingers crossed.

Looks like a decent deal, but tons of reviews on target and Amazon that it stops working like than a year. I'll probably pass and just get something a bit more expensive. Costco has a nice Cuisinart for $50, maybe it'll go on sale.
