I was wondering the same thing... I researched for a few hours looking for a decent baking stone appropriate for a gas grill and found this brand to be pretty good according to the majority of amazon reviews. This baking stone's manufacturer (round one) was also recommended for the big green egg style grill by this review: https://www.thespruceeats.com/bes...es-4173058

This deal posted is for the rectangular stone only. I stumbled upon it by accident, originally I was going to get the 16" round one but then I read an amazon review where someone had cracked their oven door window because they didn't notice it was to big to fit. So I measured my oven and sure enough it was too big for mine as well. So then I planned on buying the round 14", but for grins I clicked on the rectangular since it was 15" and would fit my oven and gas grill. And low-and-behold the rectangular stone was slightly more than half the price of the small 14" round one. And as a bonus a pizza peel was included with the rectangular version!

No brainer, ordered one and shared the deal. If anyone out there has any good or bad experience with this brand feel free to comment.

I received mine today and bought the stuff to make a pizza. I'll let you know how it turns out tomorrow.

BTW- everything came intact, with scraper and peel

I used the pizza peel that came with the stone, just put some cornmeal on the peel first so the pizza can slide off.

A few reviews mentioned about the horrible smell of the stone. Is that an issue for you?
