Have this chair and it's amazing. Do your research, this chair is extremely well reviewed and considered the budget version of the Aeron

I found a floor model of this chair at a store for this price over the summer and it seemed good in the store and the first time I used it at home, but every subsequent use left me in pain and no amount of adjustments resolved it and I ended up returning it. Really need a new chair, too.

My experience may be atypical and this isn't meant to condemn its quality or the possibility it may suit a different-sized person. Just didn't work out for me. I'm 6'3 270# (working on it), so shorter lighter folks will probably fair better.

This chair looks just like the hyken
I have both this and the hyken. I use the workpro and my wife has the hyken. The workpro is far higher quality than the hyken, everything from the wheels to the mesh.
I went from the herman miller aeron when I was working in an office to this chair when I had to buy my own working from home. Overall the workpro 9000 is only slightly inferior to the aeron which is a good thing considering the difference in price. My only annoyance with this chair is the armrests are fixed to the base and do not move with the back when you recline.
After well over 2 years with this chair working 50+ hours a week plus non work related video game and study time, I haven't regretted this chair once. It's a steal at this price.

The armrest is way too high
I agree with this. I'm embarrassed to admit this exact chair was the cause of my mystery chest pain and tightness that lasted 8 months. The pain started 1 month after getting the chair, so it wasn't extremely obvious that it was the cause. Even at their lowest setting, the armrests are way too high for me at about 6 feet tall. If you slouch at all, you'll essentially be doing dips all day long. All my pain went away after removing the armrests, and the chair is pretty comfortable otherwise

9000 seems to have better reviews. I've had the 9000 for about 5 years now and still going strong. I sit on it for like 10-12 hours a day

Thanks for this - the pickup would cover in store assembly ($15) but I didn't go that route since I am cynical and afraid I would get a floor model

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but on p 14 of the assembly guide it shows how to adjust backrest height

I bought this chair mid into the pandemic when I realized we'd be working from home long term and I love it. We have HM Aeron chairs at work and I can't stand them, even after spending years getting them to find me the right size. This does not hit the back of my legs/knees, it has a cushioned edge. Also DEPTH ADJUSTMENT is huge for me that our Aeron chairs don't have at work (not sure how old of a model they are).

Anyways, been a great chair for 3 years and still looks/works like new.
