What makes this better than a nice IPS gaming monitor + a chromecast?

I have the M7 32in 4k, and the lag is unbearable using the Microsoft office. I wonder if they fixed that issue otherwise it's not worth it.

Even 120hz. This just feels waaay to pricy to me. I guess because it's a monitor and not a TV.

Depending on the gaming monitor, included webcam and USB C power delivery for the input device. Technically the built in software can do more than a Chromecast (it is probably awful). Some people prefer a sleek device so maybe the built in smart TV features would matter to someone who doesn't want a chromecast hanging off the back of their monitor.

Small quality of life/simplification features matter more to some people than others, and are worth more to some people than others. I couldn't give up high refresh rate personally but I really see the appeal of this monitor, especially if it is in a high traffic area of a house.

Tizen os is not a perk worth paying extra for. After using google tv hard to ever like tizen. I fail to see the value here even at this new price. Would rather use this to get a high quality monitor instead for same price w/ out the crappy software.

My girlfriend has this monitor/tv. It may not be top specs especially for gaming but it's a great monitor for productivity and watching shows. Very sleek too
