Good deal of you need the batteries! Drill can be had for $100 alone after the hack. If you need the rest, this is the way to go. I picked this up yesterday.

I just ordered this online yesterday but none in stock at my local Home Depot and it wouldn't let me order the drill kit to be Shipped to one store for pick up and then Shipped to a different store for the battery. So I had both the drill kit and the battery shipped to my home. I will return the battery later since I am only interested in the drill kit since it already comes with 2 batteries. The good thing is that the battery will arrive a few days before the drill kit so I will just return the battery the same day it arrives then wait for the drill kit to be delivered and keep it. Good thing I have 4 Home Depots within 15 minutes of me so returns in store are convenient.

This is the gen 3 and it's great. The gen 4 has an auto shutoff when you hit something that snags which I really want. I have had me wrist twisted more times then I care to share. You can Text HD support to sell you the 4th gen tool only with a free battery. For some reason it says you get a free battery in the page but doesn't show the discount when both added to cart. I did last night and got the 4th gen with a battery for 200. Gonna return the battery. 4th gen ends up being 114$

Interesting. I see no mention of the free battery on the HD site for the 2904.

It seems like it's easier to just have both ship to home and return the battery.

More work, yes, but I definitely won't get the "you also have XXX item which is at the Utica store" questions from the associate. I hate replying, "Yes. I totally messed that up. I don't know what I was thinking". Oh wait, yes, I do. LOL

The 2904 is one of the free good options when you buy select fuel tools (6" grinder for example). You have to go to the 6" grinder (or other eligible tool) page and you'll see the gen 4 as one of the options (along with compact impact wrench and 6.0 battery).

Where can I find a list of the eligible tools? I would love to pick up another one if possible. The 6"grinder is showing sold out for shipping and none in stock around me
