Read too many reviews about door not sealing well. Bought the Whirlpool for a little more instead.

For me it shows SS OOS, white available. but no ice maker, and it looks like this is similar to the one we have, no room for milk or taller items in the main compartment, you have to put them in the doors, which mean they go sour faster

Edit: CR gives it a 66, low for noise, ease of use and owner satisfaction, and poor crisper control. Shelves aren't adjustable. Not meaning to thread crap, but it's cheap for a reason. It did give higher marks for Very Good thermostat control, Very Good temperature uniformity, Excellent energy efficiency

The Warranty is when you use your Costco Visa Credit Card, When you use the Costco Visa Credit Card, It Automatically Doubles the
Manufacturer Warranty. The Manufacturer Warranty is 2 Years, By Using the Credit Card, It Doubles it. To 4 Years.

That's the Only Reason, I got the Costco Visa Credit Card.

That Benefit Alone is Worth It, IMO
Not anymore. The credit card no longer doubles the manufacturer warranty...that stopped sometime earlier this year.

I ordered this a few days back. Will be delivered on Friday. I'll report back once I have it. For a $500 garage fridge I've adjusted my expectations. Shelves look adjustable in the photos.

4 yrs warranty with Citi Visa is hard to beat.
You only have a 2 yr manufacturer warranty. The credit card no longer doubles the warranty. That stopped sometime this year.

Bummer. I've used that benefit quite a bit in the past.
I did a quick search and sure enough didn't see it listed anywhere so you must be right. Have anymore info on when it stopped?

Not sure exactly when it stopped but I had ordered a dishwasher around the June/July timeframe and the benefit was already gone then. I vaguely remember some comments at the time that it stopped either in March or May.

Costco VISA adds 24 month warranty but does not double it https://www.cardbenefits.citi.com...ranty.aspx

Just replaced a GE fridge that broke after 7 years.
Pathetic. No wonder I keep this older fridge around. Yeah, I've had to replace the sensors and thermostat, but it is 15 years old.

I have a Whirlpool fridge, same form factor, and the seal for the freezer door failed. Constant icing up of the inside bottom of the freezer. I replaced the seal but the icing issue persists. I've also got a Whirlpool front loading washer that broke down 5 times within a year due to the same power failure issue, related to a poorly designed motherboard. Took Whirlpool a total of 12 service visits and verbal judo on my part before they finally replaced the entire machine with an updated model, revision 3, which has yet to fail 6 months in.

Whirlpool? Never again.

That is exactly why I use my BofA master card for Costco online purchases, it extends the warranty to additional 2 years (not costco or manufacturer warranty but it is a mastercard benefit) and I get 3% cashback(you have to select online purchase category for 3% rewards) vs 2% with Costco Citi.

The Citi Costco Card's extended warranty benefit adds 24 months of warranty to any item sold anywhere with at least 1 day of original manufacturer warranty. It doesn't matter where you buy from, if you need to make a claim you file with Citi and send a quote for repair. I've done it a number of times for a laptop I purchased from the Apple Store direct. No the most efficient process, but it works.

Citi eliminated the benefit from their other cards, and the page dynasty38 linked only loads properly if you're logged into Citi.com and have a Costco Visa card. However, this link should work for anyone without a Citi account to see the current benefit https://www.cardbenefits.citi.com...spx?p=525v

lalit_asky, which card do you have that adds 2 years from Bank of America? The most I could find is that those benefits have also been reduced to 12 additional months, since Mastercard changed all their cards a year or two ago

GE or whirlpool?
My fridge repair guy told me whirlpool, Amana and Frigidaire are the brands to get.

Brands to avoid included GE, so take that how you want. I took it at face value and got a Whirlpool.

LIES! The Shelves are clearly adjustable in writing, in pictures, and in person. *THUMBS DOWN*
