Used to be that you could ship one and pickup one. Thanks for the heads up to picking up from different stores. 😁

Just got the more conventional one on the $40 deal the other day. Should I return for this?

$15 more for brushless seems worth it.

I'm going to wait for the Ridgid one at this price for the lifetime warranty.

The larger one has more strokes per minute 3400 vs 3000 and a longer blade travel 1 in vs 5/8 in. The larger non brushless one might be better for larger jobs. This smaller one is great for smaller cuts and is much easier to handle. I think they both have their uses.

Well, here it is a closer deal; but NOT hackable for the Saw w/ 2 Batteries for $119.
If you planning to keep the batteries like I do:

I've been meaning to get into a life of crime; this tool will be perfect for me to use to steal all my neighbors catalytic converters. 😂

For remodeling, deconstruction.. the larger one. For occasional nails, smaller cuts, light pruning, the smaller one. I have a large Ridgid for construction and the wife also uses it for pruning.

What happened to the hack police. It was a full frontal assault on the recent Ridgid deal.

Saturday I was going to get this while in the store but was told it had to be ordered online so I went to customer service and they placed the order. After wandering around in the store I went to pick up my order. They didn't have the batteries in stock so they offered to cancel the entire order or just cancel the batteries and I could take the saw ($54.89) Naturally I took the saw deal. I planned on just using the batteries for 2 of the flashlights I have but didn't really need them.

I tried the saw on on some old 4 inch limbs that had been down for a while and on a top rail of a section of old chain link fence that I am going to remove.

What I like about the saw it is much easier to use with one hand while holding what I am cutting with the other hand compared to the traditional style that I have. Even though the cut stroke is shorter this will now be my go to reciprocating saw with the proper blade of course.
