I recently tested these clamps along with 7 other top brands including Harbor Freight, Bessey, Jorgensen etc. These Bora's are hot garbage. The bar bends under light pressure and the jaws do not stay parallel. There are better options for the price, IMO. Go with the Bremen brand from HF if you're wanting a budget option clamp.

What did you find was good, other than the budget option?

Harbor Freight (Bremen) are very good for the price. Overall Bessey is what I recommend as the best bang for the buck, especially if you catch them on sale. Jet are good too but not worth the price compared to Bessey IMO.

You didnt find the Bremen had issues with the jaws being parallel? I picked a couple up last weekend to see what I thought and both had issues with the top jaw not being parallel plus Im concerned with the single pin sitting behind that bar in the head rather than the traditional 2 pins through the bar. Did you make a video? I checked your channel and didnt see anything.
**also confirming the bora clamps are really terrible.

I recently got a couple of the Bremen and they seem solid. From what I understand it is by design that it is not perfectly parallel and instead off by a bit. It is supposedly so to help apply pressure. I have a dining table that I will be building soon and will see if those 48" Bremens I got were a steal for 32 bucks a piece or not. Right now just with the weight and looks, it seems to be.

Yeah I was actually just reading yesterday about the head intentionally being out and pulling into parallel by design. Still concerned about the pin in the top sitting behind the bar. Maybe they are there behind the plastic? Just doesnt make much sense to change that which is common across other clamps. I only bought some 24's and my upcoming projects are larger. Maybe I will grab a couple 48's to test. at the price I dont feel like Im losimg out.
