Usually, a package deal (like this seems to be) would not be hackable. If someone knows how to hack this I would like to know, as I have an interest in just the batteries.

This is mostly for the batteries. This rocket light plus batteries is $10 cheaper than buying just the batteries by themselves.

I already picked up light on Monday (wanted to try it out). The batteries are on the way to the store. I really like this light, can even be used in horizontal position as a huge flash light lol Well worth $100. Going to return new light and cancel batteries to save $10. Thanks OP

Also, the 700 lumens Rover light is very very good light. The magnet is so strong it won't fall off even when placed under the hood of a car. I bought 2. Very practical light, especially if you on the repair field, electrician, appliance, hvac, mechanic, etc.,...

Almost pulled the trigger on this until reading the reviews on the batteries. On HD, Milwaukees website, pretty much anywhere you look… lots of 6Ah battery failures and even cases where they fry the charger.
